Petrochemical processing produces byproducts and/or spent catalysts that must be removed from the product stream proper to final clarification and packaging. In many cases these are high-solids containing fluid streams, which require removal or reclamation of those solids. Proper sizing of these filtration systems is necessary to maintain uninterrupted process flow conditions. The EA Series of Recessed Chamber Filter Presses is ideally suited to handle these tasks. Presses are available to accommodate a wide variety of filter cloth and cake volumes from 0.5-300 cubic feet. Plate shifters, automatic hydraulic closures and mobile cake carts are among the options available.
